Every Sunday afternoon at 5:00 - 6:00 PM

Simplex instructions

Under emergency conditions, repeaters may not work, therefore simplex operations will be primary communication. When talking on simplex, direct traffic to net control or your relay station. Remember to open your squelch to enable you to hear distant contacts. Contact net control to relay in any distant stations that are not heard by net control. Keep in mind that a conversation may be taking place that you are unable to hear. Be patient, and keep trying!

This net is called by volunteers. If you wish to volunteer to call a net, contact Emergency Simplex Net Coordinator Tom Burkhart - KI4MDU.

Every Monday night at 8:00 PM, early-bird check-in starts at 7:30 PM. Net control is rotated by volunteers.

Club Meeting

The Paulding Amateur Radio Club meeting is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM at the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce.

Go to the traffic light at Academy Drive (the traffic light after Hwy 61/Villa Rica Hwy) and make a U-turn back on Eastbound Hwy 278. The Chamber of Commerce building is on the right.

PARC Picnic

Mustang Drive is located on Villa Rica Highway (SR 61) south of Paulding County High School.

You, your family and friends are invited and encouraged to come! We have the park all day from 7 AM until dusk. We will be eating at the pavillion around 1-2 PM.

At least one radio will be set up using the club's Extra call sign W4TIY.

If you can help out with the planning or cooking or can bring anything, please let us know.

PARC Hamfest 2010 20th Anniversary

FREE for everyone! This is a tailgating Hamfest, although there are several small booths available on a first-come basis. There will be food available at a reasonable price. This is a nice park with a playground and lots of shade.

Admission and tailgating is FREE!

In celebration of PARC's 20th hamfest, we will have a special event station after the hamfest at the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce pavillion from 2PM - 6PM using the club call sign W4TIY.
